Just as Voletti combines the worlds of innovation, design and functionality, its beginning was equally melded between two separate disciplined designers and their expertise.

Actually, the story of Voletti’s beginnings is a simple one. One day a gentleman by the name of Steven Moore of Moore Design was creating a specialized award for a client. The award was to be custom fabricated out of metal and glass with specialized lighting contained within. In his searching he happened upon R.H. Jannini IV of Trinity3 Design who specializes in the design of glass and internal lighting.

Needless to say, while the two collaborated on the functional aspects of the design, they discussed their backgrounds and elaborated on some memorable projects. Throughout these discussions, many things were revealed between the two designers, not the least of which was the inner desire and dedication of a portion of their work to the higher art of design. Actually the term “portion” is probably inaccurate as each put the highest level of design into their produced works limited only by their clientele’s time and budget.

Perhaps it was the meeting of another kindred soul that prompted the question “why not build to the highest standard, price it accordingly and allow the buyer to experience the value of quality design and materials” – here is probably where they informally agreed to collaborate together in the future when a project benefited from it.

That question stuck in mind of the founder of Trinity3, as a designer and artist of glass, he understood the dedication he and others take to support their art, many supporting the ideal above the practicality of it – but dedicated none the less.

So with a little creativity, due diligence and initiative, he set aside the time working nights and weekends to develop some concept art that promoted these levels of design and excellence in precision craftsmanship. After some discussions of feasibility and structural integrity with Steven of one particular concept, it came to being.

With the design completed and a common shared goal in mind, an entity needed to be created. Perhaps it was his earlier background in Business Development, or his exposure to Branding or just the plain understanding that the name needed to exude the same level of craftsmanship that went into each design – a name worthy of the its mantra.

During one of their discussions, the name Voletti was suggested and agreed upon, and an alliance was formed between the two designers.

So, even the name of this venture is a balance of form and function of both individuals, their ongoing collaboration and common vision to produce designs that are truly treasured and appreciated.

We hope you enjoy the background to our organizations’ beginning and appreciate the fact that sharing an ideal is as sacred as the practice of it.
